Stop exporting three dashboards into one spreadsheet
Here is the ritual, named in full, because naming it is the first step to killing it.
Log into Google Ads, set the date range, export. Same in Meta. Same in Microsoft. Open the spreadsheet you built for this. Paste three CSVs into it. Fix the column that never lines up, because each platform names things its own way. Rebuild the chart that broke since last week. Notice a number that looks wrong, spend ten minutes proving it is actually right.
For a lean team this runs to a few hours every week, before a single decision gets made. Over a year, that is roughly two full working weeks spent assembling data instead of acting on it.
The insult is that none of it is the actual work. The data was never the hard part. The stitching was.
The Unified Dashboard does the stitching once, then keeps it current. Google, Meta and Microsoft in one view, on one set of definitions, updating on its own. The Monday report stops being a Monday morning and becomes a Monday glance.
The spreadsheet was a heroic workaround for a problem the platforms will never solve for you, because none of them has any reason to show you the others. A neutral view above all three is the only place that comparison can honestly live.
If your week starts with a sheet you build by hand, this is the entry to save. The full argument is in the pillar Stop guessing, start seeing.
